ollie is now with god and is walking side by side with him and looking down on everyone letting everyone know that he is happy and able to do the things that he hasnt been able to do much of over the last few years.. i am so sorry and hope the best for you guys to be able to recover soon. thats what ollie would have wanted. i would have never known about ollie if it wasnt for my daughters 3rd grade class checking in on ollie everyday. she came home and told me about him and we have been tracking you guys ever since. i too have a 10 yr old and its a scary feeling that stuff like that can happen just like that and its scary. you may have recieved some letters and stuff from the laurens marathon 3rd grade class. she said that they sent stuff to him. she is terribly upset and its hard to explain to an 8 yr old to make her understand why god had to take him so soon, but i think now she understands. our hearts go out to you and your family.

My heart aches for you Stacy! I pray that Heavenly Father will be able to lift you through the next days, weeks, months, and years ahead. I hope you can find peace in knowing he's no longer in pain though the ache of loosing him will still be there. I wish I could fly there and give you a big hug! Thanks for letting me follow along your journey and enjoy in all those precious memories you made for your son and entire family. You are a wonderful mommy! I know the Lord will bless you whether in this life or the next.

So sorry for your loss.. No mother should ever have to go through that kind of pain but you have the comfort of knowing you did absolutely EVERYTHING to make him happy and comfortable in his time of need. I never met Oliver in person but his courage and endurance touched me as well as so many others. I will keep you all in my prayers and hope that my family will be blessed to be watched over by your very special guardian angel. God Bless you and your family.

Dearest Palmer Family, Words cannot even begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I also find it hard to express how amazing it is to have learned so much about yourself through someone you will never meet. Thank you for that. Ollie is at peace now in part of how wonderfully he was taken care of by you here on earth. May you find a sense of peace knowing you did all you could while he was here. Judging from the beautiful pictures you have shared Ollie was able to lead a wonderful life and do so much before he had to leave. May God bless all of you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with us. Take Care and know you all will be in my prayers.

There are so many who have been ministered to thru your blog sharing of Ollie's life. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been at times, but you were always so willing to open up your heart and your home to all of us. And now we share in your grief, even though we do not know you personally.

I am hoping that the book "Just Like That" written by my Pastor friend will be a strength to your children (and you) as it shares Biblically what Heaven must be like. Know you are being thought of, prayed for and held in the palm of the hand of our Creator. And Ollie is free from any pain and whole again!

Dearest Palmer family, I have been a long time follower of sweet Olivers journey. He is an amazing little boy who showed such strength in the face of such a devastating diagnosis. He was so lucky to have such an amazing supportive and loving family by his side day and night making the best of memories with him in his short life. Your whole family is an inspiration. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. As a mother of 4 children I cannot even imagine the pain you are in after losing your sweet boy. I pray for peace and strength in the coming days, weeks months and years. Be gentle on yourself, there is no right or wrong way to grieve. I heard this song this weekend and immediately thought of your family and your painful journey, I hope it brings some comfort………you will never be far from my thoughts or prayers.
