Ollie's Photo Quilt

SPRING 2011

My friend Heidi's mom, Jane, wanted to make Oliver a photo quilt to hang on his wall. I gathered some photos, mainly of him and his hobbies and sent them to her. She created this GORGEOUS quilt for Oliver that my mom and I helped her tie at her home a few months ago. I thought I'd take some close up pictures so you can appreciate the quality and love that went into making it. THANK YOU, JANE!!!

Today Oliver got his new wheelchair and it's GREEN like the Incredible Hulk! Green is his favorite color. The tech showed me how to remove and adjust parts of his chair. The only thing I don't like about it, is the handles are way too low. I have to hunch a bit and I'm only 5'3. Ed is 6'0, so imagine him trying to push Ollie!!! He said the red belt buckle button was his emergency release button. I told him not to push it in the parking lot or he might fly home!!

He is such a dork! I love how he is so serious as he's holding his new illuminating Harry Potter wand! (He's going to be Harry Potter for Halloween!)
