Oliver had a fun time making his Pinewood Derby car this year. Grandpa Palmer helped him cut it out and Oliver sanded and painted the rest. He knew right away that he wanted to have a Spongebob Squarepants car "SPONGETASTIC"! I think he did a great job and went head to head with his friend, Tyler Jolley yet again this year! They both shared the first place title. Way to go, guys!

One of the only races Oliver lost was to the "Purple Popsicle" when it went out of control and bumped Oliver's car off the track and then finished the race in Oliver's lane!

Oliver awarded Grandpa with a trophy. He said that it had American flags on it and Grandpa was in the Army so it should be his! Thanks for all of your hard work, Grandpa P.!
